After twenty-five years in the West 4th Street house shown below, in 2005 JoAnne Growney moved south to Silver Spring, MD.   Her visit to Bloomsburg in  October 2006 for a River Poets reading was the occasion for sharing some memories of Bloomsburg that she has included in her prose-poetry sequence, remembering a backyard spruce.
